Tariff Rules

• Rate Exception: All exceptions to the enclosed rates must be in writing and signed by a NorthShore Transportation.

• Detention: Standby time will be billed at the rate of $75.00 per hour or fractions (1/4) thereof. (Free time allowed for loading and unloading is (1) hour in the local New Orleans commercial zone and (2) hours in all other cities)

• Stop Off Charges:

• Overweight Fines: Over Gross or over axles fines will be billed to the responsible party for the actual amount.

• Permit Loads: Over weight or over dimension loads will be quoted depending on weights and/or sizes involved.

• Per Diem or Storage Charges: These charges will be billed to the responsible party for the actual amount.

• Collect on Delivery (C.O.D.): 

• Driver load or Unload: Not available.

• Scale Fees: Based on location of nearest scale.

• Chassis Rental: $35.00 per calendar day.
